Advice on Sheep/Mountain rifle

Good evening everyone, I would like some recommendations for a sheep/Mountain rifle. I would like ideas on caliber as well as action brand and stock type. Also what optics would you reccomend? Im in the market for a new custom rifle in the next 12 months and would like to hear your opinions. Thanks in advance for your help.

260 rem would be my choice. Its light recoil and flat shooting should mate well to a light rifle.

thanks, what about a version of the 6.5? 6.5x284, 6.5x55 or 6.5 Creedmoor? How much magnification on the scope?
