Advice on purchasing my first set of Binos

I ended up buying a used set of Swarovski 10x42 ELC from a guy on Armslist. They're a set manufactured in the early 2000's and have been recently been refreshed by the factory. Bot the latest and greatest, just seems like everyone talks about Swarovski's when they talk about quality binoculars. I picked them up for $850 shipped and it looks like the same ones are taking close to $1000 on ebay. If I don't like them I'll sell them there.

SLC's are a great bino. If fresh from swaro after a refurb, they should be gtg. $850 is far less than that $1700 retail. If you aren't satisfied with them, let me know as the Torics will be back in soon enough.
