Yup! Adjustable is the way to go, and im beggining to think its becoming the new standard. No real downsides other than sometimes if you dont clean them they can get stuck. Thats about all i can think of.
The best gas blocks in my opinion (based on what ive either used or seen personally) are the blocks from JP, SLR, and Superlative Arms. Most of those will fit under the majoirty of handguards. A close second with a really small profile for fitting under the really tiny handguards would be the Master of Arms Block, but i tend to prefer the blocks with detents in them for ease of adjusting when given the choice.
