I picked up a LR1000 long action stock that had had a Stiller predator action in it. The stock has one of GW aluminum chassis in it. The question I have is it has a unique screw that comes up from the bottom of the stock and into a plate type nut that seems to tighten up to the face of the recoil lug. I've never had a chassis so I need some clarity.
The questions are;
-Do I have to stick with a Stiller or will another ejection port line up with a different action without cutting the opening to match
-Do I need to stay with Stiller because of the action/chassis combo might have been made to each other's specs for perfect fit?
-what recoil lug is needed?
-it's a BDL stock so what bottom metal is needed?

Recoil lug bolt. And bottom metal.

It's inlet for the stiller, you can drop another clone action in but the ejection port cutout may not line up perfectly. I would def give gunwerks a call about the recoil lug securing block.
