The bad part is all of this is generational, they don't care if it takes a long period of time. We need to teach our youth how important it is to protect our 2nd ammendment rights. If we neglect this responsibility the next generation or two will give up that right in the name of public safety.
When I was in High School in the 70's we had a rifle or shotgun on the gun rack in the pick up truck at school. Look how things have changed.

We need two fire breathing prophets first.
Not that he has any thing to do with this subject matter but I read an article about Kim Jong Un. It was talking about our intelligence trying to Profile him. The things that stood out in this article was that many times the more powerful a person becomes the more self important they become to themselves. To the point that they believe it's ok to do wrong if it's for what they believe to be the greater good. And as their power increases to the point that they have a dictator status, they start seeing themselves in a God like status and need to be worshipped. They see no wrong in people suffering, starving or dieing etc... because they believe that they are a God of sorts and what ever they need to do is ok. This article went on to say that this scenario is actually a change in the physical & chemical properties of the person's brain over time. I'm not an expert in that sort of subject matter but I think that we can look at dictators of Communist & Socialist nation's throughout history and see how these things in the article I mentioned make a little sense. How many times in history have dictators starved and massacred their own people. And they seem to have done it with complete confidence that they were doing the right thing. That's because they believed "the right thing to do" was to do what was best for themselves due to their God Like outlook they had of themselves. Saying all that, I do believe there's some rich & powerful people in the world today whom have a similar outlook of themselves.

I was in HS in the 90's and still had hunting stuff with all the time as we sometimes hunted before and after school both. You are correct that we need to teach our kids about not only the 2nd amd but about the whole constitution and American history period. Now let me apologize ahead of time for going off on a rant.
Our kids are literally being brainwashed into the Dem's way of thought. I know several teachers (God bless them) that are just livid since Obama era rules make them now spend a majority of time teaching gender and race equality, stupid math processes that NO ONE in the world understands, and no longer allowed to spend the right amount of time teaching REAL history! Just look at all that's going on now. Everyone is now a germaphobe because that's what was beat into everyone's head from the liberal media. Everyone is now rioting in the streets against police and that's all we see on the news. I can only speak for myself here but newsflash, I don't care what color anyone is or what anyone wants to do in their own bedroom, but here's the deal. Get a haircut, pull your pants up and get and keep a job and quit making me have to work 3 jobs just to support not only my family but all theirs too! put your hands to work and don't stick it out for whatever the gvt will give you for nothing. This covid stuff should show all of us just how easy it is for these people to be swayed into hysteria. If the dem's get their way in Nov don't kid yourself that they won't try ANYTHING they can to kill our rights. They are already doing it!
Now again I apologize for my rant as I know I'm preaching to the choir here. Stupid is just like herpes, very contagious and no cure, and right now IMO this is the REAL pandemic!

Once I wrote an essay. I wrote over one hundred. This one seemed really good so I sent it to a science group. I received a letter suggesting that every junior high and every high school kid in the world should read it because it makes them think. I figured kids would not read that much so I had my grand daughter who was in the forth grade take out every thing she didn't understand. We reduced it to four paragraphs. It still says the same thing!

I can tell you one thing that is going to get us in the end is college. I raised them very conservative and church going God fearing kids. But then you send them off to college and all the liberal wack jobs teach there and brain wash your kids. I can barely talk to one of my daughters who got it the worst. I just don't know how they get this in their heads in just 4 yrs. Oh and I believe in BLM.

How true that is 25WSM. I've seen that happen to several kids including my own sister. She actually grew out of that stage after several years and is now back to normal lol but many never do sadly. I didn't understand the importance of the statement of "knowledge is power" until later in life but no truer words have ever been spoken. If our kids aren't taught the REAL history and why the Constitution is so important in it's entirety then it makes it all the more easier for these communists to pull the wool over their eyes until THEY CONTROL YOU!
I thought BLM was Bureau of Land Management?
