a Rex Silentium is/was gonna be my next commercial suppressor. 8 cone baffle stack, and 45 cal. maybe something to run a 338 or 37 cal
I have to admit I had never heard of Rex Silentium until another Montana LRH member mentioned it (sorry, I cannot remember who provided the information but thank you very much). I wanted to support my local economy and went a made-in Montana product (my 2nd, 1st was Eliteiron). The guys at Rex Silentium are amazing; the can was at my FFL in 3 days upon payment.
This new Silencer Shop way is a nearly painless process to me. It would have been even more straightforward if I had bought the suppressor from Silencer Shop. In either case, it is a breeze.

Yep, that's what my FFL dealer told me the average wait time is! My first one (2015 IIRC) was a day shy of 120. Weird because my two buddies also ordered less than a week's difference. One waited 6 months and the other 9 months.

That nfa tracker link shows close to 200 days, that's closer to what I heard it was about 9 months right now for form 4
Yes, but like @CA48 was told, 90-day is the average wait. Perhaps, this is more of a processing goal. But in either case, the wait has significantly improved.

I'll be interested to see if they hold true to taking care of their backlog first. I have some paper form 4s from Mar and June last year on a trust still waiting. I did one of the first electronic ones on the earlier system and it was a couple of months.
