I have a new Fierce Carbon Rogue in 7 PRC. I was unable to get anything but Hornadys brass at first.
Which is the issue. New unfired cases that were run through a full length size die, then annealed and run through a forester neck bushing die, also full length. Almost half of them were difficult to chamber. Even the once fired were problems. Then I started bumping the shoulder back, 2 thousands. Then four thousands. Ended up at eight thousands before the became fairly easy to close. I got my GS owner to let me try some factory loads. They worked without issues. I was frustrated by this beyond words. I was shooting hammer bullets, which were wasted in my opinion.
I've sense found ADG brass which is supposed to be here Thurs. I'm leaning on the bag brass from Hornady being some that were not up to standard for their loaded ammo. I already didn't like Hornadys brass, now it's on the hate list.
I know the 7PRC is very new cartridge, but is anyone having any issues with brass or other loading problems.

Did you try and chamber the new brass that was unsized? I bet they would be fine. A touch undersized if anything. I neck size new brass and that is all. Why anneal virgin brass?

Your problem may be your FL sizer not being adjusted correctly to size the virgin brass. I can about guarantee it.

I'm running ADG now but I bought 700 rounds of factory loaded Hornandy

I bought 700 rounds of factory Hornady 175 eldx and after reloading 5x primer pockets are a little weak on some so I toss those but I'd have to agree with these guys your sizer is out of wack. I now run ADG as I just picked up 400 new cases but I still have a lot of factory to run . I always try 3-4 out of every 10 cases to make sure they lock up tight

Yes I did, before I did anything else. That's why I full length sized all of them using a lee die. I've ordered a micrometer to measure the web.

All of my complaints aside, I'm loading a 6.5 PRC for a friend using Hornadys brass without issues. I'm at a loss as to why this is happening except bad QC on their bagged brass.

I can't get my kendel to pair with my phone at the moment or I'd show the pictures of the brass.
Finally got a picture.

I full length sized using a lee die. They are not difficult to set up. When that didn't work I used a forster full length neck bushing die. I've been using them for couple of years. Don't think both are bad,or mis adjusted.
I did mention that not all the brass wouldn't chamber, only about forty percent were bad.So sorry about that. Frustration has set in.

I finished building a 7PRC late last year and used Hornady factory 180gr ELD-M ammo for testing and re-used the brass for hand loads. I never had an issue loading the brass after sizing, I am using a Lee FL sizing die without the expander and running it through a mandrel to set the neck interference. I never had any issues, I would do a quick check, with your comparator to see what the virgin brass is set as before first firing, second thing I would check is at the 200 datum to see what your chamber is on a spent cartridge. Lots of measurements I would take and then see what the die is setting them when sizes. If possible, remove the extractor, if you have a mandrel, sometimes the expander can pull the bump out some when coming back through.

Do a search. This is a known issue with the prc rounds. The chamber at the .200 datum line is too tight. You are having to screw the die in to try and size the base and it is pushing the shoulders back too much. You can search " prc clickers" as it usually starts with a hard click on opening the bolt to eject a round. They make a reamer to fix this issue.
