What is the status of this caliber. I can not find any ammo or brass?
I haven't tried 375 to 7mm but I bet it needs to be done in small steps (i.e., a lot of work), maybe too much work! I have used 8mm Remag as you did.Back when the 7STW first came out, there was no brass available either. I had to buy factory loaded 8mm Mag ammunition, pull the bullets, resize to 7mm and load. I tried forming them from 375 H&H brass, but I could not get it to work without cracking the case.

I got the 375 cases necked to 7mm just fine, but when I fire formed them, they cracked at the shoulder. It's a lot of taper to blow out at the shoulder. Maybe if I had annealed them, it might have worked. I don't know. That was 40 years ago.I haven't tried 375 to 7mm but I bet it needs to be done in small steps (i.e., a lot of work), maybe too much work! I have used 8mm Remag as you did.
Thank you for the idea... I just found a box of 6.5x300roy at the range the other day. Someone had their toy out and didn't keep the brass...I still form mine from either 375 H&H or from 300/340 Weatherby.
I prefer to use Remington brand 300 Weatherby as it forms easier.
I have never cracked or lost a case doing so.
I form many full length cases from H&H brass. If unprimed brass was available to me, I would use 6.5-300 Weatherby brass to form STW, but it isn't.
Cheers.
Or neck this down, or perhaps just run the sizer die through. All one would have to do is ne neck this one up.

Yep that works to. Little more pricey but I think it's a better brass.Or neck this down, or perhaps just run the sizer die through.
