I'm looking for load data for 7mm saum with the 175 eldx. I like running 7828ssc but I have h1000 and retumbo. I normally run 168 bergers but just rebarreled to a 1-8 so I'm wanting to go heavier. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe 7828 would work but would be on the very low end of velocities. Of the powders you listed h1000 would be best. Retumbo would be too slow. Between my shooting group 4 of us have 7 saums and RL26 is the magic powder with 180 class bullets.

Fps isn't all that important I'll give up 75-100 fps for crazy accurate I have good luck with 7828ssc I'm not married to it but do have a few pounds . I know the h1000 is a good slow burning powder that works good in the long barrel short mags. Was looking for data more than anything so I can try during break in. Was off today and was just wanting to see if anyone had data on the 175 eldx. I'll call Hornady tech line tomorrow and get their data.

Nosler lists it for 185 gainers with starting at 50.5 up to 54.5 grains for the 175s I'd start at 52.5 and work up

I run 63gr of H1000 with 210m primer and Gunwerks brass with a 180eldm. Only 5gr bullet difference but pretty close. I'm getting 2900fps with a 24.5" barrel

All three will work with 7828 being the one with the lowest velocities.

I would try 7818 and H1000 and see which one it likes best. I have some data for the Sierra 175gr bullet, it'll give you a good starting point. If you want it let me know and I'll send it to you. The Hornady app is down right now but I can also get you that data if you want it.

Stay safe
