7mm remington mag scirrocos

Hi all,

I'm trying to help a buddy out with his new rem 700 sps. He bought a 7mm rem mag and wants to shoot the 150 grn swift scirrocos. Has anyone tried these bulllets and what loads did you use? also, does anyone know the BC for these bullets?

7mm Rem Mag Scirrocos

I use the Rem 150g factory load for my 7mm Rem Mag and am getting 1/2" Group-3shots -100 yds. The only thing I did to my gun was add a HS Precision stock. My groups went from 3/4" to 1/2". My 200 yd group is 7/8".

Yes, I used the original Scirocco's (pre-Scirocco-II) and found them to be extremely accurate. Have not used the new pills.....yet!
I loaded my with 67.0gns RL22 and got 3140fps using CCI BR2's. i seated mine .010" off.
Accuracy ran between .25"-.50" depending on me. This load was used in my old Sendero and now in my 700 P. JohnnyK.
