7mm Rem Mag Rem 700 Sendero load?

Reloader-22 is my go to powder in my 7mag Sendero. Two loads that work great in mine are:
66.0grs of Reloader-22,160gr Accubond,Rem case,WLRM primer,COL 3.290
65.0grs of Reloader-22,168gr Berger,Rem case,WLRM primer,COL 3.400
As always, start low and work up.These are not max in my rifle, but they shot great so I quit right there.

Thanks for the advise on the amax. I currently use 7828 in my 270 wby mag but I hear it is a bit temperature sensitive. Should I try 7828 in my 7mm or should i just go out and get h1000?

I have used RL19, RL22, and H1000 for my 7Mag. I am happiest with H1000.

I have a jug of IMR 7828 SSC sitting around, waiting for me to finish my .280 AI build.

Nothing wrong with the Amax at all. It's a great bullet for deer. I loaded 63.7 grs of 7828 and the Sendero would hold in the .2-.3 at 100yd. Shot two deer last season with the 162 amax at 630 and 657 yds. They didn't live long enough to complain:D Also shoot the 105 in my 243 with great results. No trailing required!

+1 for RL22 at 66.0grs. I use this in my 7mm Rem Mag 700. I seat to 3.300". Just to keep it easy. Mag accepts. Can't seem to go wrong with it. WLRM primers.

Posting virgin...popping my cherry.

I'm curious to see how this turns out for you, I bought several different boxes of premium factory ammo to test bullets in my 7mm sendero (hornady, berger/hsm, barnes) and the 168 grain berger's did not group well. Barnes 160 TSX grouped 1/2 MOA and did well out to 800 yards. I probably had too many variables to be a definitive test (different powders, primers, seat depth, etc).

71grns,H-1000,cci250 mag primer,Winchester brass an believe it or not good ol Sierra 160 game kings or 169 SMK's or the Berger 168's! All of them shoot great in my 7 mags! Another good load is IMR 4350, 64grns, same everything else! Working with H4831SC, I'm at 65grns but showing very slight pressure signs, but I've got one 7 mag that loves it!!!! Hope this helps!

Everyone says h1000 is the best for the 7 mm rem mag but I can't find any. I just have 7828ssc and 4831sc.

don't worry about it!
When you find some try it out. It works good for the heavy pills but not so good for the 150's and 140's. At least in my rifle.
For my earsplittnloundnbanger this is what works. 140 and 150 IMR7828,next RL22. 160 RL22 then H1000. 175 H1000 then RL22
For 139 and under believe it or not I use IMR3031
Each rifle is different, what works for me may be junk for you.

I do know that 4831sc works good in some 7mags! I've got one that loves it, becareful though about working your load up with 4831sc( work up slowly) I'm showing a slight sticky bolt at 65grns! As far as7828ssc I have no exsperiance with it! If you can get some IMR 4350 it works good also! Just my 2cts!

Load bullet in this order, same powder charge

5 rds off lands 5k
5 rds off lands 10k

All the way down to 30k

Surprised at 10k off lands gave me point .43 inch @100.
I cleaned barrel every rd. It didnt like being toooooo close to lands.
It opened up to .92 inch @ 100yds @ .30k off lands. ..

Unfortunately I ordered a chrono and will be arriving in September. .
