7mm PRC Wildcat Build

Since I had a couple thousand 300 Win mag cases laying around, I kept it simple and built a 7mm Mashburn Super. Same velocities but always a ready supply of brass.

Smart man, I started down the Mashburn road about 30 years ago. Who did you have chamber it, anyone local? I have my own reamer as well.

I've got a 7 mega in the works now.
My 7PRC is doing well with 190 LRHT, at 2900-2960 with 26".
I'm excited to compare them soon.

Dennis Erhardt at frontier gunshop in Helena, MT did it. I later added some Freebore to it. I'm rebarreli g it with a 26" 8 twist barrel.

My present barrel is a #3 Hart, cut to 23" with a 8 twist. Things a hammer! Did Dennis rent the reamer or did he have one? Arnold used to do a lot of work for me.

I've had Bud Morrow of Sheridan, Wyo. Dan Dowling of Colorado and Gene Simillion of Colorado do work for me as well on various Mashburn barrels.

I alos had him do an 8mm off mashburn super case. It will kick out a 200 gr accubond at nearly 3100 fps. What's not to like?
