If you want the best performance. From and awesome cartridge. Then buy alpha 260 brass, neck it up , and have the gunsmith set the headspace off the neck shoulder junction of that. You can get 3,000 easy with 150 Eld-x from a 24" barrel

Why not just buy Alpha 7mm-08 brass out of the gate since it's plentiful currently?
