Aluminum oxide will give a darker grey but its course and I dont think it looks good.

I guess if one wanted a finish like Ruger target gray I guess the only option would be cerakote? That's one fine looking rig you have there thanks for your replies GLWS

Cerakote would be the best way to achieve that, correct.
