7 SAUM load data

Anyone going light and fast? I'm thinking about trying the 150 ABLR.

It should do really well with the lighter bullets as it's a little faster burning. It's not known for great speed but is known for stupid accuracy and extremely low ES. This is why the creed guys were grabbing all they could a few years ago before they discovered the speed gains in RL26.

I'm going to run a ladder on mine with it and 150 hammers from a 20 inch barrel.

Even with the 180's I'm finding the H4350 is an excellent combo. Only have 40 rounds through this barrel and this was a 6 shot group. I'll have to run the chrono to see what she's looking like for ES and SD numbers. I'm thinking they should be looking good.

I'm interested to hear what the chronograph shows for that load. I have a 7 SAUM in the works and it's nice to see some options!

So far things are looking really promising on paper. We shall see how down range goes and numbers here shortly. Hoping to get to those over the next few days.

I'm not thinking speeds will be all that, I'd guess in the 2750 - 2800 range with break in period and all.

As long as ES and SD numbers are solid I'll probably just run with it through the life of this barrel anyways.

Planning on the 155 Hammers out of my SAUM for elk this year as well. I have them running 3020fps out of my 22" Proof with RL-23, and they're regularly shooting .3 to .4 MOA. Last year I shot a big-bodied bull with 30-cal 166 Hammer Hunters at 2900, which did great.

I have been running the 155 Hammer Hunters with 57gr of H4350 in my 7SS @ 3067 from a 26" proof barrel. I got stiff bolt lift at 58 grains
