I'm putting together a 7 saum in a medium action and am looking for load data with it and h100v. I'm going to ream out the throat so I can run 175-180 gr bullets where they should be.

Hodgen shows 175gr bullet at 2844 fps with 57.3 grains compressed with a coal of 2.825. If I load them out to 3.1 or 3.2 inches how much velocity can I expect to pick up? Obviously I'm going to add more powder with the extra volume.

I see some guys running n560 in the saum with heavy's and getting ~3000+ fps. What I'm trying to figure out is if I should just go and buy some n560 or will I be happy with h100v

I'll be using Adg brass and 175 eh Bergers

As with anything else, YMMV. There's no way of telling actual velocity unless you run your load through a chronograph.

I get it… I'm just hoping someone else is running the saum long with h100v and can tell me their numbers. I'm waiting on components right now. If someone has real world numbers one way or the other it will help me determine if I need a different powder. If I need it I'll capitalize on the Black Friday deals. If not I'll stay with h100v and save money.
