7 RUM Annealing Frequency?

Howdy,

I try to anneal after the second firing. You probably could stretch that up to the third, but your reject rate may go up with such a high intensity cartridge.

After the first annealing, I anneal either every shot or every other shot, depending on the cartridge. Low intesity cartridge, 257 Roberts, 7X57, etc., you can go every other time, or even every three shots. But, magnums need it more often.

Hope that helps you, and best to you sir.

Out of an origional 10pcs of brass, had 1 case neck go on firing 3, then it was primer pockets on 5th firing that took all brass outta comission. Loads were almost 2 grains low of nosler book with no presusre signs. I'd hazzard that unless your load is really soft pockets on the rem brass will go before necks need work.
