Got to shoot a little today.
70.5 grains H-1000 put me right at 2900. Gonna have to shoot again to confirm but I'm happy. 3@100

Barrel length definitely makes a notable difference in velocity. I run a lighter charge in a 26" Bart and get over 3,000fps.

I was happy they got to 2900 didn't know if they'd make it there.

I agree - I'm almost surprised to see 2,900fps with a 20" bbl.
