H20 capacity is about 108gr with lapua brass. It should be real close to the 7rum data.

They will, Been there with mine lol. Throat leaves the chat and they start blowing up after about 2 shots. Had to let it cool before it would put a 3rd on paper lol. Currently waiting on a 5r. Mine did it around 250 round count.Thank you! Shot everything on 15X lol

I smoked one in 250 rounds. Not entirely the guns fault. I was trying different things, pushing it hard, and didn't let it cool like I should have I'd say. Still had good accuracy but the throat was gone and it started having blow ups.

Congrats on a SICK rig OP, looks and shoots amazing, and barrel life be damned we want PERFORMANCE! Those who worry about the barrel should just get a .308 winny and be happy!
. Besides, if the current barrel doesn't die then there's no reason to ever try a new barrel and chambering on this action in the future, and what fun is that!?!?

Good to know! Yeah I hate to handicap the case capacity with H1000, but **** that stuff is clean burning and consistent and mild on the throats.
Might have another barrel chambered ASAP too.
I have a Benchmark 8.5 twist in the safe. Waiting to see if I like the cartridge haha

Berger is all I shoot. I did get some custom Swedge 180s from robinett to try. Still the same deal. It's just time for a 5r with a new throat lol. You got a nice round, and I'm glad I have mine. I wouldn't change a thing besides starting out with a 5r on mine. I've learned a lot from it. If you want a hot rod 7, I can't think of a better one. Let that thing cool is the main thing. Mine gets hot quick. I did take it out last day of rifle season to do some doe patrol on a corn field. Farthest one out that night was only 780 yards but it hit perfectly with the current shot out barrel.

You might be right. I would say this cartridge needs some 195s eol or 190 atips if you had more twist.
With that combo, the SG would be around 1.3 for you low landers.
An 8 twist 5 groove/6groove would be money with some 190 atips
He's got a 5 groove he can spin up and try some 190's
