6gt with 80gr ELD-VT

Leaning on this groups collective expertise! Does anyone have experience loading the new Hornady 80gr ELD-VT in the 6gt cartridge? Going to start out with testing Varget and go from there but thought I would see if anyone had advice/recommendations. Thanks for your time!

Hodgdon states to start with 32.1gr Varget with the 80gr Barnes with COAL of 2.390. You can try a ladder and see where you get pressure.

Run them in a dasher. Settled around 3240 with 24" proof barrel and varget. Should work real well for you.

I'm gonna load some up in mine. 26 inch Krieger, alpha brass, cci srp I am gonna try staball 6.5, match, h4350, varget and reloader 16 I will let you know what works best for me.

Hornady... 6mm Creedmoor… for some reason it didn't post all of the data and left off that it was for a 6mm Creedmoor for reference only . I will check with admin and see if I can edit the ad even though it doesn't give me an option to right now.

I tried them in 6 Predator using TAC and got 1" MOA at 100yds. Still more work to do as I just loaded them at MAG length and went for it. Will attempt adjusting COAL to see what happens.

Finally was able to make it out to the range and put some to the test. Decided to test these in my 6GT with Varget, starting at 32.5gr and working my way up to 35.0gr (in .5 increments). With no pressure signs, my best group size and velocities came with the 35.0gr charge. Had an average velocity of 3122fps with an SD of 3.0 and ES of 5.6, resulting in a group size of .52" at 100yds. Still have some fine tuning to do but very excited at the potential for this bullet.
