So, I didn't like how 'front heavy' the rifle was partially due to the HS Precision butt-stock being hollow on this particular model. So, I grabbed a 1/2" drill bit and put a hole through the recoil pad and ultimately into the hollow butt-stock cavity. Then used a mixture of zinc coated BB's and a product called 'Perfect Cast' (I'll provide the Amazon link to that) and filled that sucker up!! I'll finish filling the hole flush with the recoil pad with some silicone and forget all about it! This is gonna work out nicely, I think. Definitely added some weight and deadened the 'hollow sound' completely.
By the way….the 'Perfect Cast' reaction with water is exothermic and sets up completely in about an hour.
