6.5x284 Brass…?

Does annyone know where all the brass went? I can't find it in stock anywhere!
We shoot a lot of 6.5x284 Lapua and about one 1/2 years ago I told everyone that have this caliber to stock up because Lapua we discontinuing due to more production for Military contracts on other calibers. About the only place you can get 6.5x284 is from private shooters.

I am at that point in life that 200 rds of brass are purchased with every new barrel. Roll it into the cost and then don't look back. I have way too much brass because of this, but I never hit (anymore) the horrible frustration point of realizing I cannot duplicate a load cause my brass is gone and I would have to start over with a different lot or heaven forbid, completely different manufacturer.

Very good advice 🙏

I bought the last of Paul's stash 👌
Very easy guy to work with and what I felt were extremely fair prices if y'all were looking for other components.
Thank goodness there was still some out there in the wild and there are even people willing to share 🙏

My MAN!!!!!!!!!!!
How do you like the Peterson Brass?
We have about 1K of NEW Lapua Brass so with proper sizing, AMP Annealing and not HOT Loads should get 10-15 K + loads for our 6.5x284.
Nice stash. Lets see, at 1500 rounds before the barrel is burned out, that would be 10 barrels?

I seem to recall you are shooting several 6.5-284 guns. I find having more than one gun per cartridge to be taxing. Full length resizing is not my thing. And with multiple guns, keeping the brass straight/separate is a chore.

And one gun, one cartridge is a good excuse to try another!!!

Thanks for your response.
It's had to say that we have tooo many guns, but we have too many shotguns, rifles, and pistols. this is a list of some of the rifles we shoot, but some are for Hunting and others for Steel/Paper AND some are hiding in the Steel Box like a Vampire afraid of the Light!

You are correct on multilabel rifles in the same caliber and keeping brass separate. Had three .260 Rem at the same time and several 6.5x284 and keeping brass separate was work especially when cleaning brass. had to do several batches in the wet ss tumbler and for every process... We are trying to be down to only one rifle per caliber, (with exceptions) but have several backup barrels for most rifles. We aways buy several barrels for each caliber so we have one ready when we burn one out.
