6.5wsm reloader 26

If your using RL 26 It needs a magnum primer. Look at Aliants reloading manual. You won't find a powder listing for RL 26 without using a magnum primer. I believe it's because it's very dense and a slower powder.

I do primer tests for all my loads for all of my barrels.
My 270wsm prefers BR2 primers.
My 6AI prefers 210m primers.
I would say not every application for Reloder 26 likes magnum primers.

Did you guys order a reamer with the freebore you wanted or had it throated, if so what freebore did you request?
I did a crude mockup. This is a 140 VLD at max mag length with the boat tail at the start of the neck, from what I can tell this is .200" freebore.
Also can someone post a pic of one of your loaded rounds so I can get a better look at your cartridge freebore?
Thanks.

Here is a reamer print based off a dummy round I sent into JGS. It was based off the 147 eldm seating above the bearing surface. Unless your down for turning necked I would do .299 diameter on Norma 270 wsm brass necked down. Doughnuts form for a fact and I leaned that the hard way. 143-147 or even the 150 sierras is what I would run. 147 at 3080 from a 24" barrel. I would use a Broughton #4 or 5 fluted and you would see higher numbers than that. Both RL 26 and H1000 has same node. I built mine off a Tikka, so I had 3.3" to work with.
