6.5 Wildcat

I am curious if anyone has used the 142grn 6.5 Wildcat bullet in a 6.5X284. I have just got some in and was looking for a starting load.

Any inpot would be appreciated.

Will work perfectly well with any load data for the Berger or Sierra bullet in that same weight. There is ALOT of data out there for the 6.5-284 with these bullet weights.

As always start with recommended starting loads and work up from there. YOu will have to find the best load for your rifle.

Check 6mmbr.com for some 6.5/284 loads using 140/142's.

What powder are you running?

(If I were you, I'd start w/ 48 gr of H4831c, and work up till I found pressure)
