6.5 SAUM - Was it a wise choice for Western hunting?

Here is some pics of my girlfriend and her doe she shot with the 260 Rem at 62 yards. See how the 140 grain Berger bullets don't expand at close range. LoL!!!

I shoot the 140 grain EOL in my 6.5 Saum but haven't killed past 1050. I think the new 156 EOL would be great, give it try.

I don't thank my 260 can push them fast enough.

I have a 300 RSAUM that's new in the box. Never been. Fired. I won it in a $5 raffle. I wanted to neck it down to a 6.5. I spoke with Remington about it but they told me they never made the rifle in a SS all camo stock. I gave them the serial number and they said the numbers are correct. They told me hang on to it cause its 1 of 1.
