6.5 SAUM LOAD DATA

Just finished this load today and it hammers.
300 saum Brass necked to 6.5
CCI-BR2
60 gr H1000

2.210 CBTO W/ Hornady Comparator

The two groups below were not hand picked. Rifle does this every time. GAP built, 8.7 twist bartlein on Templar v1 action, Manners mcs-t Elite, triggertech. About to chrono with magnetospeed v3 and Will post results.

How far off the lands were you?

Anyone have a good place to start with cutting edge 130gr and rl26? Will be using Hornady brass. Thanks!

143gr eld-x, not sure how far off the lands but used the same setting on my seater die as the hybrids, nosler brass, cci250 primers, RL26 3140fps (same POI as the Berger load out to 1000yrds)

Have ramped up to over 3200fps with no pressure signs for either bullet...

Orch[

what was your powder charge for the ELD-X's with a RL-26?

What is your COAL on these loads.

Just wondering if anybody has any more load information that they'd be willing to share. Just got my new 6.5 Saum and started doing load development with 140 gr. Berger vld hunting and H1000. Right now I'm at 60.5 grains of powder and .020 off lands with half moa accuracy at 100 yards but hoping to get it down to 1/4 moa. Played with seating depth some but seems like 1/2 moa was the norm. Any advice is welcome. I don't have Facebook so I can't get load info there.

I run 140 vldh 30 off lands with 61 g h1000 at 3030fps. 23 inch barrel. 1/4 moa and better if I do my part.

Finally chronographed my loads and with 60.5 grains of H1000 and touching the lands I have 2930 fps average with an extreme spread of 11 and sd of 5.5. I'm around 3/8-1/2 moa. Just seemed a little slow to me. 26 inch Hart barrel. Just wanted to get some opinions. Should I try for more velocity?

Mine had a 24 inch barrel and with the same load as yours it ran an average of 3050. Yours seems slow or the chrono is not correct.
