I'm building a 6.5 SAUM and am looking into what I should make the COAL. Plan on running hornady 147 ELDM
Action is a 700 SA with a Wyatts mid length PRC kit that'll allow a maximum length of 3.235".
my question is should I just run the COAL .020" under or is there a sweet spot? I plan on sending a dummy round to my builder with the desired length.
