9.2 lbs total 6.5 PRC sub 1/2 moa
Proof/zermatt origin short action
Proof carbon fiber 24" sendero barrel
Silencerco ASR muzzle break
Greybo Phoenix adjustable stock
Vortex precision rings
Vortex viper pst gen2 5-25x50 illuminated mil turret SKU# PST-5259 Reticle: EBR-7C MRAD
Accurate Mag 6.5 PRC/300 WSM 2.985 coal
I worked up custom load development. 145 total round count, 3 minutes or greater between all rounds fired.
After barrel showed signs of not speeding up, I narrowed down my starting load. Fired 2 different days to get average of human error.
Day 1: left to right top row, I shoot 1 round at each charge weight after 1 cold bore test @ bottom row.
Day 2: right to left, same charge weights reverse order, this way same charge weight groups are adjacent.
I sharpie the back of my cartridges with a corresponding charge weight code, I can ensure I have the correct one as I load.
(I omit any charge weight that 1 moa or worse, to save resources, row 2, highest charge weight)
Then put up paper at 200 yards to shoot 2 groups, 5 then 3 rounds, so I would finish on an easy multiple number round count. (Goal was under 150)
I then load 105 rounds, select 5 random, test for velocity/accuracy on my 650&700yard steel.
1 shot 650, zero scope, 1 shot 700, zero, 650, 700, 650. All 5 hits, also validates scope tracking.
Will provide exact load data with 100 loaded rounds 147 eldm.
Disclaimer:
Action started as 6.5 creed, wife loved my 6 creed better, so I re-barreled this in 6.5 PRC along with bolt face change.
I only shoot suppressed, silencerco omega 300.
You will have to re zero scope if you do not shoot suppressed.
I can guarantee a suppressor and magneto bayonet chronograph do not affect harmonics/accuracy @100-700 yards.
