6.5 PRC seating depth with 142 LRAB

I emailed Nosler yesterday and they said for the 6.5 PRC .050-.070 off the lands. The test loads I did up the other day, I'm going to sink them another .025 before I try them. This should put me .063 off.

Is that suggestion on or in the box?

There used to be a note on the ABLR page on the Nosler website before they redid the whole thing, now it's something you have to hunt down.

Nosler recommends starting load development with the AccuBond Long Range bullets at a depth that would result in a cartridge's SAAMI established maximum overall length. These bullets have a smooth junction of their bearing surface to the ogive. This tangent ogive design provides good accuracy without the need to be at or near the lands. Often, ABLR's actually prefer at least .050" jump before making contact with the lands.

Oddly enough the one rifle I loaded them in the best group was at the SAAMI max length, which for me was 0.072" off.
