What was the speed of the retumbo load? I would find the distance to the lands and do a seating depth test with that load. Find your lands start at .020 off or mag length whatever is shorter.

Save your retumbo and try h4350 or staball 6.5 or imr 4451 will do the job.
Get you a good good scale such as gempro 300 and get powder charge as accurate at 0.02 or 0.01.

go to Amazon get you a OAL and modified case , measure it than subtract 0.020, you will find the land right there or subtract another .010. I never have retumbo, I use an575 for 6.5 prc and theFPS is faster than retumbo.

You won't know until you do it with and without. I put a light crimp on a 7RM with 175 accubonds and it real helped, put it on 270 Winchester with 150 Berger's it didn't Help at all.
