All the 6.5 haters and 6.5 Creedmoor haters are the same ones that wear a apron when they BBQ while drinking their Boone's Farm Strawberry hill.

I was going to go there but decided against it
I took issue with the creed early on as it was being compared to the 308 win often.
The best, most efficient bullets in 6.5 were being compared to the 1980s technology in the 308. Of course it worked out better. Compare apples to apples, as in the best with the best...they are similar. Buuuut the 6.5 shoots so much easier for me. I have been watching lots of youtube videos with people shooting the 6.5 creedmoor with the intent of watching the animals reaction. Bottom line shoot anything in the vitals and they will probably die. How soon and in this county are important to me. Wide open spaces where you can watch them fall or in dense tree stand type woods, where and how far are a consideration for me.
That said, I have a Savage 6.5 creed I am trying to sell in the classifieds. I don't have a manbun, but would sell it to you if you do
I was thinking of joining the dark side and getting a Creed (it is pride month, after all)- I'd be interested in yours, but there's a Savage 110 Magpul Hunter at my Bass Pro for just $725 and I don't value that carbon barrel for +$700.I took issue with the creed early on as it was being compared to the 308 win often.

I agree with this, I see way more Creedmoor Derangement Syndrome sufferers than people exaggerating the 6.5cm's capabilities.Disclaimer: I don't own a Creedmoor.
The '6.5 Creedmoor hype bro' is a straw man. I've been scouring the internet for nearly a decade attempting to find this guy so that I can demean and belittle him for his false beliefs and exaggeration of what it's capable of.
Despite all my efforts, all I've found are rational, level headed shooters that value the cartridge on its merits. And in the meantime come across hundreds (maybe thousands) of guys obsessed with hating on Creedmoor. Most seem to be .3sl0w8 acolytes who are insecure and concerned that their precious foothold on short action supremacy is being eroded and displaced by a more modern chambering that's actually purpose built.
This. I love a 6.5 grendel. 6.5 PRC is my favorite cartridge right now. I just hate the creedmoorThe POST Title is incorrect. There are not "6.5 Haters".
It's the 6.5 Creed Haters.
What did you put in there that eroded the throat so fast? These are supposed to be 1k-1.5k round barrels under standard conditions. The 6 and 6.5 Creedmoors both are great target rounds as looking at PRS competition. First time shooting 1000yards I easily hit the target over and over again. Had a lot of throat erosion in the 6 after putting 100 rounds down range that day and the 6.5 did just as well. Took the 6.5x47 out to 1 mile at Black Bear shooting complex and will now retire the barrel. Yet to try hunting with either but as far as long distance plinking goes they all do well. I use the 30-30, 30.06, 25.06, and 6.5x284 for the hunting duties and don't forget the muzzle loader. Waiting on a .243 AI barrel to add to the hunting duties.
Probably because it was in less than a 4 hour time period. Measured BTO and was a huge difference, about .021. Won't do that again. Was using the 115gr DTACs and now trying the 101Gr hammers. Showing promise so far. Just need some range time. What did you put in there that eroded the throat so fast? These are supposed to be 1k-1.5k round barrels under standard conditions.

Bultinkle was just being sarcastic and it rubbed someone the wrong way because they took it literally....
"Barrel lapping" with bullets sprayed with adhesive and dusted with fine sand hahaWhat did you put in there that eroded the throat so fast? These are supposed to be 1k-1.5k round barrels under standard conditions.
