If any of you are ever thinking of getting a 6.5 Grendel AR, don't hesitate! This AR is especially awesome for coyotes. I have now shot three coyotes with it and the performance has been awesome. I love the fact that the coyotes are flat out anchored to the ground once they are hit. Even a slight far back hit is going to anchor them with the 100 or 120 gr ballistic tip. Here is a pic of the exit wound on the coyote that I shot this evening. I posted the pics on the coyote forum as well but thought I would do it on this forum for someone who might be on the edge of getting a 6.5 Grendel AR for a yote rifle.

I wish you'd quite posting pictures of that rig.... . I'm in enough trouble already! HA!

I've been giving a LOT of consideration to either a shorter version of yours in 6.5 Grendel or in .204 Ruger for a new "handy truck gun" for coyotes and other varmints.

I'd probably find myself in less trouble though if I just go ahead and send my little CZ off to Krieger for a new 20" bbl. I love that little gun any how.

What caliber is your CZ? Or should I ask what caliber would the new barrel be? :)
.204 Ruger. I'm going to rebarrel for the same and put in in one of these. H-S Precision Pro-Series 2000 Varmint - CZ 527 & CZ 550

I'm thinking though that I'll probably go to the 22" version with a little faster twist this time around so I can shoot the heavier bullets. It flat ROCKS with the 32gr but they are too light for deer.

Here's a picture of it. David Scott (CheifDog) did the honors as photographer.

Yup! Lived there for about 15 years. My folks still live there. I loved fishing that river. Biggest yellow cat I ever pulled out was 30 lbs but they have pulled MUCH larger ones outta there. Llano, Texas... Home of Coopers BBQ and the deer capital of Texas.

I used to purposely take the backroads to Lampasses so I could go through and eat at Cooper's on the way to San Antonio.... .

Korhil 78, did you get that rifle from RRA or did you build it? Also, what types of groups does it shoot at 100 yds? i have been thinking about picking up an AR iint that caliber or 204.
