6.5 creedmoor reloading

I'm going to have to disagree with this bullet is too heavy for a creed.
Berger's load data shows over 2800fps with both rl26 and n560... and that's at only 2.8 oacl

I see lots of guys running their prc at 2850-2900 with the same bullet
Agree. And I've seen some running the PRC just over 3000 FPS with the 156.

The numbers I get with Peterson SRP/RL17 39.8gn/Fed AR Match/156EOL, in a 26" average velocity 2752 fps. In a 24" barrel average velocity 2672 fps. These are hunting loads.

Initial testing with StaBall6.5: Starline LRP/Staball 43gn/Fed GM210M/156EOL, in a 26" barrel is 2659 fps. That was the top charge and not max in MY RIFLE! Not finished with testing to find absolute maximum charge yet....

Can someone run QL with n560 and rl26 with a 156 at 2.8?

I'm actually loading with n560 as we speak and am about to test.

Max with Berger was 45 at 2800 when I called at 2.8 with a 26 inch barrel

46.1 at 2801 with rl26 26 inch barrel

I suspect we'll never get enough in the case to worry about pressure but it's good to see QL numbers along with paying attention to one's own rifle for pressure

I'm starting my loads at 2.91 which is .030 jump in my chamber

46.1 showed a slight ejector swipe as well. I'm examining brass thoroughly now.

I suspect rl26 will yield slightly higher velocity but my rifle shot this n560 fantastic this evening.
