When I was around 14 we were visiting my grandparents and I took a buddy with us. They lived in a rural area that had a dump about a mile away( legal in those days ) where we would go to shoot rats with our .22's. There was a river close by and as you can imagine a reasonable amount of Seagulls aka " flying rats " I said to my buddy watch this and I proceeded to pluck one out of the air with my .22.

I was far more amazed than he was. And no I didn't tell my Dad.

Watching that had a very ominous feel to it. I was waiting for the sky to blacken, lighting, thunder, and the earth to start quaking after the shot went off.

Maybe they cut the footage just before all that happened. I wondered if he started to pass out? Cut it … cut it…just before he dropped.
