6.5-06 load data

Getting ready to built a 6.5-06 a square just waiting on the barrel.

Was looking to get any load data that people were successful with. What bullets you use powder, primers etc.

I have a bunch of .270 win brass I am converting. Is it worth buying 25-06 brass and sizing up?

Any info you have would be great thanks!

If you're going to use 270 brass and haven't ordered the reamer yet, there is a 6.5-270 that means you won't have to trim 1/8" off the neck of all your brass.

I have had great luck with mine with RL23 and the 156gr bergers. Out of a 20" barrel, I'm getting just over 2800fps

I would neck up 2506 brass .007 diff that way your necks don't get too thick and less trimming.

I started with 270 brass and ended up buying 25-06 brass to avoid the time for trimming brass. I am using H4831 and getting ~2950 with 140gr ELDms
