6.5-06 barrel life?

I knew the others. I just couldn't find the data for the 6.5 and I knew it wasn't really a 6.5. I thought I'd have some fun with it.

I wasn't picking at you I Just wanted to clear it up for the newer members because it is confusing.

In fact there are very few cartridges that are called by there actual bullet diameter.

I don't know exactly due to all the different variatons. I built one15 years ago , used a CM douglas barrel @23 inches.I ran sierra 140 bullets at 3050 fps. I had 2200 rounds through it when I rebarreled this rifle. I went to a 280 for a change. I still have the barrel and will likely rechamber it to a 260.
