501 Yard Elk • Hammered • Cavity Review

Ryan shot this incredible Bull Elk at 501 yards with a 28 Nosler and the 143 Hammer Hunter Bullet. The Elk walked 60 yards and tipped over. The shot was slightly high and back. Upon recovery the entry wound and exit wound was not excessive. When he opened up the Elk, Ryan reported the internal cavity was soup. Congratulations on your 2022 Elk. Thanks for sharing.

That's about what the inside of my friends bull looked like. The guys in camp thought it penciled through because entrance and exit was small. Then after looking at the insides and explaining that that's how they work and definitely not a pencil they realize how well it worked.
