It will be built on a CZ550 Magnum action (.416 Rigby, with Triple River's magazine box for the Jeffery) with a 30" fluted Lilja barrel, and set in a Bell & Carlson tactical stock.
I would think the Jaguar performance would be similar to .338 Cheytac, but in a Lapua-sized action. If you load it with the long solids, though, it will be a single shot proposition.

That is what intrigues me about this caliber.
Would like to see a reamer drawing, and if there is sized brass available already for it.
I think you would probably need a 14-16# rifle in order to handle the recoil.

Anything new on the 338 wolverine? Or anyone else that has built one, what have you seen with it? What powders fid you find worked well with the 300 grain? Would like info preferably with the 500 ahr case.
I have a tac 338 built into a 338 norma rite now, but looking for something different.
