50 cal smokeless bore to bullet

Im new to owning a smokeless muzzeloader.do they make 50 cal bullets you can shoot without sabot? Also what powders is everyone using?

check out Thor bullets, and Fury bullets. they may still need to be sized to your bore.

i have a savage ml2 laminated stainless

I would look into the Fury Universal fit bullet. As for charges, I'd follow the manufacturers recommendations.
The Fury Universal fit bullet works extremely well in the Remington Ultimate at velocities up to 2300fps.

You might want to take a look at this forum. Swaging comes up quite a bit with some states limiting the use of sabots for hunting.
