Amazing what can be done with the old 45-70 when you work with.Check out the Youtube video's.
Mark & Sam after work.
Couple in Australia, i believe.
They've been taking the 45-70, and other cartridges quite a long ways out!
..more like you could butcher the animal and cut up the meat, then make the sandwich...maybe two.You could eat a sandwich waiting on impact!
..I'd love to know the drop and hold over needed.. wonder if you could catch the slug ??
Prob more likely being in CA. Less longitude to travel.Once time of flight gets long enough, perhaps you need to point the .45-70 exactly the opposite direction from the target so the earth does a rotation under the bullet and it smacks your target from the other side!
I trust you mean Canada and not California. Either location has issues tho…in Canada the freezing cold air will slow the projectile down too much…and in California it's sure to collide with at least 7 individual condors on its trajectory, 8 if it's a lead bulletProb more likely being in CA. Less longitude to travel.
