400 legend

I did see the new 180 gr ammo available but there was a limit on qty and 2 boxes wasn't worth the shipping to me...Other than that I've seen nothing. Still watching for bullets to be released. My son was able to kill his first deer this year with the 400 legend, unfortunately I was with my daughter when he shot it, and didn't get any pictures to share on performance, But for what it's worth, he double lunged it at 230 yards and it ran about 30 yards before giving up. The 215 gr bullet performed good. Lungs were soup and the exit was about 2" there was still a fair amount of blood shot meat-it hadn't slowed down and acted like a 45-70. This spring I'm planning to get him shooting it farther and see what it does at 300. Hopefully someone has leads on some new stuff!

I would like to see a ballistic tip copper bullet in the 180-190 gr range, if that's possible. But I would much rather have the 190 and 215 bullets able to be purchased as a component. I'm willing to bet I can work up a hand load that's better than factory.
