375 H&H or 375 Ruger

The short mag may be a goodie. But ammo may be very hard to find.

Last time I was in South Africa, 2018, I checked on 375 Ruger. Lots available in the 2 shops we stopped at and my.PH said it is common enough that most places carry it. In all the extensive traveling and hunting I have done I have never had to buy ammo locally top replace lost or because I ran out, and I ahve never met anyone who has.

I have three 375 H&H. My biggest point is that the H&H comes in more guns that I would want.
