Let see that thing man! One thing to note, I do believe those rifles are a bit on the expensive side, and you could do a custom job for less...in more of a standard configuration, and even lighter. I do know Mike (ABS Barrels) has done them down to 10 lbs, but 12 and up is easily done. Give him a call and ask him about what configurations he would pick for that light of a rifle.

Man, great to hear! How about showin' us a pic? One thing I do have to mention, is that case neck length. You can do shorter, but the throat wears out much faster, and the long boat tail ends up eating capacity. The one thing we did when did the 416B conversion is drop the sholder back, improve the case (though there wasn't much to improve on) and go to a 40 degree shoulder. This made the powder colum a little shorter and the neck longer with about the same case capacity as we started with. Honestly, from what I see, it looks more like a 338LM to 338Norma conversion. I am just a big fan of a long neck...can't help it (and it doesn't hurt).
