I wonder if the truncated cone, semi jacketed flat point is still made in 125gr and 158gr.I wouldn't recommend pistol bullets on deer.
I'd agree that the 125gr is too light but the 158gr should work well.

I'm missing a .358win in my life right now.
Hard to beat the fun factor of plinking Pistol bullets.
Over 10 or so grains of Trail Boss or Blue Dot... Centerfire doesn't get much more economical than that!
Now that I think of it, some .308win SRP brass would allow the use of small rifle primers as a further cost saving measure. Might just snag a couple bags for my next project
