358 Win - Pistol Bullet Plinking Loads

If hunting for anything larger than close range varmints, or distance shots, the 160 gr pointed 350 Legend game bullet, is pretty accurate and 2800 fps from a 16" 358Win AR, and good for deer, or farther ranging coyote, light recoil an functions in ARs ...

I use a 125 gr.truncated bullet that is designed for 9mm. I use it in my 38 Special. very accurate, flat shooting, light recoil. A friend asked if I would like to try his 357 Maximum while he went for coffee. I asked if I could try my loads in it. He said go for it but they won't be accurate in his gun. He was very annoyed and piseed when he came back and I showed him my targets. Much smaller groups than he could make with his 357 Max. loads.

Having a few great years of fun reloading 358 BLR with all kinds of light bullets.

Welcome, turbo 2

I'm missing a .358win in my life right now.

Hard to beat the fun factor of plinking Pistol bullets.

Over 10 or so grains of Trail Boss or Blue Dot... Centerfire doesn't get much more economical than that!

Now that I think of it, some .308win SRP brass would allow the use of small rifle primers as a further cost saving measure. Might just snag a couple bags for my next project 👍
