..great cartridge, more than capable of handling any you'd care to drill with it.. a short mag 45 years early, like everything else sabotaged by BigGreen the inventer..

I've had this conversation before, maybe even with you! . But I think some of their best work regarding cartridge development has been in legitimizing wildcat cartridges as factory loadings like the .25-06, .22-250, and 7mm STW - along with getting American hunters - and Canadian hunters with them kind of by default - to love and trust the 7mm bore diameter, no small task when the .30-06 and .270 win were so well established already. The 7x57 of course was around long before either of those but…ON THE WRONG SIDE!

Very capable round--I have owned a number of 600 350 mags...loved them all--I have been shooting a 358 Norma a bit now...I've been pushing 200 grain bullets fast out of a 23 in barrel...looking forward to seeing some results.
