I feel like this thread has been derailed pretty significantly. Let's see if we can reel it back in for the o.p. ....
Who makes the best Edge brass or is it all fire formed? Brass cost can be negligeble if a guy can get multiple loadings on it.
another source that has the 338 edge head stamp is Bertram brass. You can also get 300 ultra mag brass from Norma and Nosler, they won't have the Edge headstand though, also you'll have to Open up the neck to except a 338 bullet.ADG .338 Brass, ready to go!
Nobody makes it 15? Oh well, 2 rifles and let go on the 11 th year isn't bad!Yes, one of the nice perks of working here is getting a rifle of your choice after 5 and 10 years of service.
Well the improved version of the 338 Lapua would be pretty much a dead heat with it.From the data I have seen, nothing beats the .338/.378 Weatherby. I built one in the 1980s.
Also with better brass for the Lapua.Well the improved version of the 338 Lapua would be pretty much a dead heat with it.
While it is a good choice, it for sure isnt the best choice as for velocity.
Lots of things have happened since the 80s.
As much as i hate to admit it. lol
