I am just getting my edge going and not completly sure what to expect. I did all my barrel break in and then I mounted my scope there is all my information on the targets. I shot from 88.5gr to 94 gr. I never seen any velocity spikes really. I Have a trued remington 700 with a 31.75 5r barrel and then carlocks brake after that. It really seems to shoot but not sure what to think. Has anyone ever played with hodgon bmg as a slower powder or should I try something faster to see if velocity would increase. I am not complaining, just did not see all that much happen with what was tested. The loads are with cci 250 and seated against the lands.

US 869 will probably give you the most velocity in the Edge. The downside is that it seems to be temp sensitive. You are getting some pretty impressive velocities, if the top loads have a low ES with manageable pressure and acceptable accuracy you are GTG. I would not worry about squeezing the last drop of velocity out of it unless you plan to shoot at extreme ranges.

Uh, just looked closer at your target, did all of those different loads fall into a cluster that is around 1/4 Moa. If those squares are 1 inch and considering the 3 click move that would have brought the three to the left of the big group into the cluster, sure looks like 1/4 min to me.

I don't have any idea how many rifles you have dealt with but your results are spectacular!

hell would'nt want to sell that rifle:):):):) augustus is dead on if those numbers are true your doing fine . 92 gr is looking just fine

You should get rid of it. After looking closer at the group it is only a shade under 1/2 min. Really, that is still outstanding for that many different charges to go into that small of a group at that distance. You could stack a truck load of custom rifles in a pile and would be lucky to have one that would duplicate those results.

I know it is pretty good. And that is the reason I hate chrongraphs you have something perfect on paper and have expectations for it. I went with a longer barrel hoping to get the 3000' mark. I did not have a chance to shoot today but hope to have it going this week. Bear opens pretty soon so I need to get it going. I will keep everyone posted but I have high hopes of shooting aways with it this week. I have 76 moa left. That would get me to 2200ish.
