.338 Edge Improved?

My guess is 3750 fps. The lightest bullet I could find in QL was a 160 Barnes TTSX. Max load of RL17 (94.0 grains) in the 338 Edge is estimated at 3548 fps from a 26" barrel. Factor in another 100 fps for the improved version and another 100 for the lighter bullet and you've got a flame thrower on your hands.

Did you really mean 132 grain bullet in a high capacity 338? People are trying to tell you that doesn't make much sense.
Just a different goal. Others not understanding doesn't diminish interest. Education and entertainment.

Some just like to experiment, and move their understanding. The Edge itself falls into that category.

I'd expect about 4000-4400 fps. But the lightest 338 Hammer makes is 175 grains. Barnes makes the 160 TTSX. Cut a bit off the bottom and you'd have a 132 TTSX.
