338 Edge brass from 338 RUM Cases?

Hi Guys,

I am just getting into the 338 Edge and have found a cache of 338 RUM brass. Can it be used to form 338 Edge brass? Or will it be too short? If it can be use, what is the process?

That stuff is like gold right now. You'll have no problem finding someone who wants it.

It can be done, as can making 280 rem brass from 30-06 brass, but you have to neck it for a false shoulder and jamb the bullet in the rifling hard also. I'd do as the others have said and use one of the full length rum cases (7mm, 300, or 375) for your brass if you can.
