338 Barrel Options 5r or Not?

I'm building a 338 and have been reading about 5r rifling and wanted alittle input from someone using one. Are they good or better than standard rifling? Which barrel maker would you use? Any input on 5r barrels welcome.

I bought a Broughton barrel for my .338 RUM build and it has 5C rifling.

I don't have one as yet, but I just ordered one for my 300 Sherman. I decided on the 5r from Bartlein after talking to Lonnie Hummel of Hornady. Lonnie competes very well in 1000 yd. competition and shoots one in his 280 HK. He says it shoots great and is a BREEZE to clean.........Rich
